What we do
We build a clean, fast image converter that needs no account. You open a page, drop in an image, take the result β and the file never goes anywhere near a server.
Why local conversion
Uploading an image to someone else's server and downloading it back is slower and exposes your file unnecessarily. Modern browsers can decode and encode images on their own. Local conversion also means no server bills, which is why there is no reason to cap usage or stamp a watermark on results.
How it is built
Decoding and encoding use the browser's own Canvas and createImageBitmap APIs. SVG and ICO are parsed by code written for this site. The whole site is static β there is no backend at all.
